History of Takamaz
1948 - 1968
- 1948: Takamatsu Ironworks Co., Ltd. was founded by Kiichi Takamatsu.
- 1960: Entered the machine tool industry with the T600 chamfering lathe.
- 1961: Reorganized into a limited company and established the current company.
- 1968: Relocated the head office plant to Matsumura-machi, Kanazawa City.
1969 - 1989
- 1973: Ms. Kuni Takamatsu became president.
- 1973: Opened the Tokyo Branch Office (now the Kanto Branch).
- 1974: Launched “MERITER” precision hydraulic automatic lathes.
