AWEA Mechantronic Co., LTD was founded in 1986 in Hsinchu County, Taiwan, with an initial capital of USD 100,000. Over the years, AWEA has grown to become one of Taiwan's largest and most respected manufacturers of CNC machinery, known for its innovative designs and high-quality production.

Milestones

• 1986: AWEA Mechantronic Co., LTD. is established, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to precision engineering and manufacturing excellence.
• 1996: Achieved ISO 9001 certification from GERMAN TUV RHEINLAND, reflecting AWEA’s commitment to quality management and assurance.
• 2000: AWEA goes public, listing on the Taiwan stock market, which helped secure the financial stability needed for future growth and expansion.
• 2001: Establishment of "BEST WAY MECHANTRONIC LTD." to expand its market reach and enhance production capabilities.
• 2008: Completion of the Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP) branch factory, enhancing production capacity and technological capabilities.
• 2009: Installation of Taiwan's largest milling machine, the LG-20070, showcasing AWEA's capability to produce large-scale and highly complex machinery.
• 2013: Introduction of the efficient AWEA Production System (AWPS), streamlining production processes and increasing operational efficiency.
• 2014: Completion of the Wujiang factory, expanding AWEA's manufacturing footprint and increasing its ability to meet global demand.
• 2016: Celebrated the 30th anniversary, marking three decades of innovation, growth, and excellence in CNC machine manufacturing.

Leadership and Growth

Since 2002, Mr. Edward Yang has served as the chairman of AWEA, guiding the company with his professional expertise and a business philosophy centered on innovation and excellence. Under his leadership, AWEA has experienced nearly tenfold growth over 15 years, establishing a strong brand presence in key markets such as the United States, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Spain, South Korea, and China.
